Bay 1Rack & bracket fabrication
Every rack, stand and bracket cut, welded and coated by us. The cut list comes straight off the layout drawing we build with you on day one.

The shell is built by a factory that has made them for decades. Everything inside it is done by five people in Napa, an hour north of San Francisco.
Bears Motorsport started as a race team, not a manufacturer. The trailers we could buy were cargo boxes with a brochure — fine for hauling drywall, indifferent to the fact that a karting weekend is a mobile machine shop running on four hours of sleep. So we built our own. Then somebody at the track asked us to build theirs.
That is still roughly the size of the operation. Five people, three build bays, one trailer per bay from the day the shell lands to the handover. No production line, no rotating crew, no outsourced sub-assemblies. The person who builds your fit-out is the person who hands you the keys.
We get asked regularly why we don’t scale up, and the honest answer is that scaling up would destroy the thing people come to us for. A week or so of shop time works because one build owns one bay. Add a fourth trailer to three bays and you have invented a queue — and a queue is what the national manufacturers already do better than we ever could.
So instead of growing the output we grow the specification. What a bigger operation would spend on a second shift and a sales team goes into aluminum, marine birch and hours.

The shell arrives empty. Here is what happens to it in each bay, and when.
Bay 1Every rack, stand and bracket cut, welded and coated by us. The cut list comes straight off the layout drawing we build with you on day one.
Bay 2Racks, benches, cabinets and stands set to your kart, your tire sizes and the order you reach for things on a Sunday morning.
Bay 312V and 110V looms labeled end to end, shore power tested under load, then a full checklist walk before we hand it over.

We’re an hour north of San Francisco. You’re welcome to walk the floor mid-build, put a hand on a frame on the jig, and sit in a finished trailer to decide whether the bench is where you’d want it.
Most people change two or three things after standing in one. That isn’t a nuisance — it’s the whole reason we’re worth talking to instead of ordering from a catalog. Visits are welcome any weekday; call ahead so somebody is free to walk you round rather than mid-weld.

Tell us how you race, we’ll draw it.
