The a week or so, the pricing, the warranty and what a build slot actually commits you to.
There isn’t one, but there is a condition: the drawing has to be locked. Most of what makes a build slow at a large manufacturer is queue time and mid-build changes. We front-load every decision into days one and two, then nothing moves. If you want to change the layout on day nine we’ll do it — it just adds days, and we tell you exactly how many before you decide.
Because most of what you pay a national brand isn’t material. It’s the dealer’s margin, the showroom, the advertising budget, and the finished units depreciating on a lot. We have none of that. Our costs are aluminum, marine birch, axles and hours — bought at the same prices everyone else pays.
It comes back to Napa, to the same six people. Five-year structural warranty, two years on components. You also leave with the full wiring schematic on day one, so any competent shop can work on it if you’re a long way from California.
We’d prefer it. We’re an hour north of San Francisco. Walk the floor, look at a frame mid-build, sit in a finished trailer and decide whether the bench is where you’d want it. Most people change two or three things after standing in one, and that’s exactly the point.
Karting is what we know best because it’s what we race, but the BM-Moto platform covers motocross, road racing and snowmobile programs — ramp door, chocks on rails, heated gear lockers and an insulated cold-weather package. If you run a mixed program, tell us the worst-case weekend and we’ll draw around that.
A slot is held with an approved drawing and a deposit. The price is fixed in writing at that point and does not move — not for material costs, not for hours, not for anything we failed to anticipate. That risk is ours, which is why we take our time getting the drawing right.
Yes. Every rack, stand and bracket is powder-coated in house, so team colours cost nothing extra. A full exterior wrap is a paid option and adds roughly two days to the build because the panels have to cure before the graphics go on.
Most people collect — it doubles as the handover walk-through, which we think matters. If you can’t make it to Napa we’ll arrange transport at cost, but we’ll still want an hour on a video call going through the trailer with you.
If the question you have is not above, it is probably the one worth asking. Send it over — we would rather answer it now than have it come up after a deposit.
Send us your karts, your tire count, how many people travel with you, and whether you need to sleep in it. We’ll come back within one business day with a layout drawing and a fixed price — no configurator games, no “call for pricing”.
